How is Nex Lip Lift performed?
Nex Lip Lift is a non surgical office-based procedure. Dr. Naima Cheema uses a combination of Botox and Volumizers to achieve optimal results. Nex Lip lift is usually performed in two sessions about two weeks apart. Our goal is a well balanced natural look. We often combine Nex Liplift with PRP treatments of face and lips to help rejuvenate the face and lips.
What is my downtime for this procedure?
Lips are very rich in their blood supply. The swelling and bruising are variable. We use numbing cream and offer additional anesthesia during the procedure if needed to minimize discomfort.
What should I do prior to the treatment?
Please avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen or other non steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, St.John’s wort or high dose vitamin E one week prior to injections. If you have active Herpes infection or bacterial infection at the site of injection, we will ask you to delay the treatment until the infection resolves. In patients with a pre-existing history of Herpes Simplex infections, we suggest to start your anti-viral medication two days before the treatment to avoid any outbreaks.
